Learning outcomes
After this course student will be able to identify various mechatronic components and interconnections; divide a system/device/machine into individual mechatronic components and their connections and asses each component based on its features. Student will also be able to apply basic mechatronic principles, theories, and calculations.
Content
Introduction to mechatronics: definitions, principles, and examples of mechatronics systems. Tools used in mechatronics. Motion control basics, Actuators, Sensors, controller equipment, Real-time control, Industrial automation, and communication, Power supply and transfer, wired and wireless connectivity. Basics of Electro Magnetic Interference within mechatronic components.
