Internship is recommended in order to develop student’s skills and professional identity. Internship and a practice report reflecting the learning during the working period support the development of a student as a professional. Internship helps also the student to build an own professional network to facilitate their employment. \r\n\r\nThe aim of the Internship is to deepen the expertise and professional skills by working with tasks requiring the Master's degree, with the help of the co-workers. The tasks should primarily be based on the field of students own studies. Reflective report discusses how the training contributed to learning of the skills needed in your own area of studies, what new skills and knowledge was learned in training and how previous studies supported the work to do. The report should describe your role in the work unit and the role of the work unit as part of the company's organization. The report may include comments on the superior-employee relations, occupational health and safety, organizational structure and MSc role in the organization. The report can also include the company's history, its current operations, strategy and vision, ethical values, educational activities, as well as the company's views on future skills needs. The report should reflect the studies to the findings at the work. The length of the report should be ca. 10-15 pages.
